Wadah Khanfar, the director general of Al Jazeera, is the first presenter at this year’s TED to be publicly broadcast on the web. Khanfar called the protests that have taken root in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, and elsewhere a historic moment when ordinary citizens realized they could demand change. (TED)
