If you didn’t already know that Macau was the Las Vegas of Asia, then you might be surprised to hear that it has actually surpassed Las Vegas as the gambling capital of the world. We should be calling Las Vegas the Macau of America!

Logically, this can only mean one thing for the future of the ex-Portugese colony’s development: Playboy.

The less-than-tasteful media empire is bringing a Las Vegas style club and Beverly Hills style mansion to the Special Administrative Region. Club general manager Reggie Martin noted, “We really want to establish Macau as more than just a gaming destination.” Well, I do hear that Southeast Asia is known for its thriving sex tourism.

Hugh Hefner and Stanley Ho can now show mainland Chinese what the Playboy bunny really stands for, since both the website and magazine are banned there, while the logo itself is a well known fashion brand.
